Question: Transporting a Spotted-tail Salamander

I have a lot of these little guys running around in my basement. One of my friends loves them, and i want to get one for her. I've informed her of what to feed them, how to set up their habitat, how sensitive their skin is, and all of that good stuff. The funny thing is, I have no idea how to get it to her. I don't really want to carry around a big glass aquarium, and her birthday is tomorrow. So I was wondering how to create a decent homemade travel container for one. It would be a huge help if anyone has suggestions.

Just put it in like a deli container or a small steralite tub with wet paper towels in it. Don't leave it in the car during the trip and it should be fine.
