Does anyone have tips on transitioning marms to aquatic? My marm is approx. 4" long. He is healthy, and should not be compromised in any way through a few days of settling in. ANY thoughts are welcome! Thanks.

T.marmoratus have distinct terrestrial and aquatic phases. If given suitable land and water areas to choose between they'll invariably follow their seasonal pattern, entering the water to breed and hauling out when done. Some keepers do keep this species aquatic all year round but to me it seems like an unnatural situation to force upon them.

If you have the space an island style semi aquatic tank would work quite well. Just make sure the land area has suitable hides. You'll soon discover if he want's to become aquatic.
