So i have Some interesting tank ideas and was wondering the minimum depth a full grown axie would need ? I Have seen them in deep tanks and in my opinion shallow tanks and all seem very happy . What is your exp with water depth and happy axies?

We have some of our 1.5-2 inch babies in a kiddie pool haha. It's shaped like a curved clam shell, so the depth is slightly variable, but averages 6 inches deep. The little 'lotls have a short trip to the surface and their bloodworms sink quickly to ground level for them to snap up.

Some people have dining rooms, and some people have cute amphibians. :D

I think the length of your axolotl plus a little extra is a good minimum water depth.
