To feed or not to feed?

We have a little he/ she ( can't tell yet) named fluffy, 6 inches wild type . We recently started him on worms, night crawlers ( earth worms were bad at pet store, so started night crawler farm) and was wondering how often to feed. Right now we are feeding him one worm a night from tongs cut into thirds ( not feeding him the head) he always jumps right at it like he has been waiting all day. But from my reading it seems many people don't feed their little friends as often. So my question is am I feeding him to often, even though he seems hungry each time I bring him some food? I only want to do what's best for him so I would like some advise from those that are more experienced than myself.

Some worms will not breed in a worm farm, do you know exactly what types of worms you have? Lumbricus/lobworms/nightcrawlers are one you can't breed at home. You need to keep nightcrawlers in the fridge or they will persih quite quickly.

One whole nightcrawler per day is a huge meal at 6", you might consider feeding every other day until you can get a worm farm breeding, or half a worm every day. Ultimatley it's up to you, but overfed axies will either get very fat or will upchuck undigested food and make a mess.
