Nice looking axies, I like the light brown wildtype - ours are all dark variations like your darker one so its nice to see lighter coloured wildtypes!

Thanks Kapo. The darker one is Tamon and the lighter one,who is older, Pumbaa. Tamon is the extrovert and Pumba is a bit camera shy. But they seem to get on really well.

I just love the golden flecks in your darker axolotls skin. Very beautiful.

What sort of live plants are you using?

There is actually only two live plants in the picture, one at each end of the tank, the rest are in the backing. I really like the effect Timon and Pumbaa even try to swim under the rocks out the back. As to the plants all I can tell you is that they are alive and green Ha Ha! I didn't ask at the shop I just liked them.
