Is that only mulch in there?? I think they would rather prefer Eco Earth/Soil than wood chips. And the way they eat, I would be scarred of them swallowing a small piece. It looks nice but I would go with soil/eco earth. I also may not see it in the picture. I think when they are in the water bowl too much it is a sign of wrong housing. Water bowls are ussually a saftey measure for if the tank were to become dry / hot. I would also deffeintly loose that tpe of light and maybe use a aquarium light.

yea i no i need to change the wood chips but i jus bought em.im gona get eco earth fer sure next time.and the light?how warm should it be in my tank?

Or wat if i put a small fan on top cuz i have one?it would cool it down 20 degrees.

I dont know if a fan will cool it down that much. I would try to keep the temps at 74F. I would really try to get eco earth sooner or later. 1 brick cost $4 and will last that one tank a while.

If the temp exceeds 75 will the salamander start getting sick or stressed?like it wont eat due to it?

Your salamanders need to hiding places. Enough hiding places for all of them. Naturally Tiger Salamanders aren't directly exposed to light. Naturally they dig and hide. Mole salamanders are usually living in borrows. They usually only come out after rains. Their skin can dry out very fast. Make sure you have a lid that can hold in the moisture and humidity. A screen lid won't work. Make sure you get the right substrate for your tank. Some brands of substrates my be harmful to Tiger Salamanders. Research and research and then do more research. Try to imitate a Tiger Salamanders natural world.

Hi there

I don't know much about terrestrial salamanders, but wouldn't blowing a fan inside the inclosure cause them to dry out faster/desiccate?

Your tigers are beautiful, by the way
