So I got a tiger salamander roughly 6 months ago, at the time he or she was sold to me under the assumption that she was a axolotl. About a month ago her gills started shrinking and the black spots started appearing. So I got everything together for the change to land. Once her gills we're almost non existent I lowered the water level to a few inches. Later I changed her to land (exp Terra with a small water bowl, spanghum moss and a little hide in a 20 gallon long) before she would eat earth worms regularly. After the change to land she is never seen and has not eaten once. Also she looks weak and maybe bloated. But after not eating for a month I am very concerned. I'll upload pictures when I get a chance I don't want to stress her out by pulling her little burrow right now.
Any help would much appreciated

I know when metamorphosing they usually don’t eat. But also it may not used to eating on land. Maybe try putting a shallow dish of water out with worms in it?

Thanks I'll give it a ahot. I haven't seen him or her in a couple days. I've though about going through and trying to find her but I'm also just trying to make she gets a chance to destress kind of
