Hello,
I have an 8 year old Tiger Salamander that looks like he is bloated. I did some research and I am thinking it might be kidney failure? His environment has not changed. No temp changes. He was a very good eater until last Thursday. He has hardly eaten since then... and everyday he looks a little more bloated. He is still responsive. I was just wanting some feed back from others that know the Tigers better. I've been trying to find a vet in the area that knows salamanders... no luck yet. I need to clean his tank out... but don't want to stress him too much. If it happens to be dirty water will he get better? Or is the damage done?
Thanks!
Jackie
