Yeah, I'm aware the title sounds strange since they're known for their appetite. But hear me out. I just got a new eastern tiger salamander from a company located in Florida. I am located in colorado. She arrived yesterday and has yet to take food. She isn't my first salamander, I had another for 11 years that passed away a few months back, and he was always a great eater, but was also purchased here.
Anyway, my new salamander is pretty young and small, she's only like 5 inches long. I've tried feeding her crickets and mealworms, and I'm picking up dubia roaches and baby nightcrawlers tomorrow.
Could she just be stressed from the journey and being in a new environment? I'd love some help!
