Illness/Sickness: Tiger Salamander Bump

Today, I was feeding my tiger and he seemed to have hard bump on is side. It is not very large and he does eat and act the same way, It is not pussing or red, it just feels hard. I was just hoping to see if anyone has any ideas or comments on what should be done? Thank you for your help!

It could be a cyst. These seem fairly common in some species.

A picture would be quite helpful.

I will try to get a picture of it, what would I have to do if there is a cyst?

Typically, nothing. If it's stable and not growing, there's usually no need to remove it. If it does appear to be getting larger, or interferes with eating (if it was on the head), a vet could remove it pretty easily.
