Hey all,
Originally there were two larva that were thought to be wildtype axolotls. One morphed and to me it looks like a tiger salamander. I haven't seen many other salamander species except for axolotl and tigers and just wanted to make sure that it (they since there are two) are actually tigers so that it will get the kind of care it needs. The main reason that I am double checking is that the first one seems to be quite a bit smaller than most when they morph. They were obtained from a pet store in Utah that didn't seem to know exactly what they were to begin with.
The link to the pictures is here Salamander? - Album on Imgur. The first pictures are of the one that has just morphed. I don't have an accurate size measurement but they both fit easily in the hand. The last picture is of the currently un-morphed one.
Thanks for the help!
