of those 3, 2 survived and now are in with the parents. they take forever it seems to 'bolt' and get past this tiny stage-at least a year in this size before they get a growth spurt. most are kept in a plastic shoe box with java moss and about 1/3 " water. the most robust have been moved to a 5 g tank with the floating island. since these are better eaters and swimmers they get more room to spread out and grow. they like the water so-so and i leave lots of daphnia and black worms in for aquatic food. i also offer fruit flies for when they are on land.
