I've reduced my photos to under 150kb and 176x200 pixels and this site won't accept my photo. What the hell is going on? I've been working on this for over an hour.

Chuck, this is probably a photo compression issue, so you need to find out how to
compress your photos

I use ACDSee, so I can't help you if you're using PhotoShop or some other software. There should be a compression setting somewhere there.

For example, this is a compressed version of your photo:

Hey Chuck,

I usually post over at www.axolotls.org

Take your images into Windows paint if you are using Window's program. Reduce the image to either 20 or 30% depending on the size of the image. Make sure to save it as a Jpeg. To save it as a JPeg click on File Type. If you save it as a Bitmap it sometimes has trouble posting it.

Hope this helps

Rheann, just so you know, it's the same forum on both sites. Axolotls is just a subsection of the overall caudate forum.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
