I'm thinking about getting a newt or salamander in the near future, and I was wondering if you could point me out to some species that stay smallish and can live happily in the mid-to-high 70's? My mom's house gets into the upper 60's to low 70's in the cooler months and gradually climbs up to the high 70's in the summer. I just want to make sure I get a newt/salamander that can handle that range of temps. Any help would be great!

Cynops pyrrhogaster, C.ensicauda, Hypselotriton cyanurus, Tylototriton verrucosus and Pleurodeles waltl. All capable of tolerating the higher part of that spectrum and even some more. Also all frequently captive bred and available directly from breeders.
