Got a new camera so all I needed were some models to test it out. I have two leucistic that I raised from eggs and one melanoid I got from Mel. One of the leucistic has a pointy face and one has a really flat face like its hit a brick wall...not that it has

That's the flat faced one. I still need humorous names for them, I was thinking of calling them after star wars characters.

Chewy - for my normal looking one (and because I can't call an axolotl Chewbacca)

Yup, he will be. Got the canister filter today, unfortunetly the piping that comes with it is way too short so I'll have to take a trip to Middletons

I think you can buy a small adapter so the filters hangs right on the back of the tank...so you wouldnt have to buy any new hosing.

Yes, Eric is correct. I use these hangers with mine, they work very well.

BTW, your little ones are looking great! The names are cute too! take care

I sat mine on the rear of the tank top and it seems to do fine even though it's pumping "uphill" about 9". :happy:

I have a weird aquarium lid so I'm not sure the hanger would work. I cut some holes in the side for the piping now. Would this filter be able to sit at the same level as my tank ok and suck water up as long as I have longer tubing?
