As someone who has been down this path, let me say the current literature is largely composed of a handful of scientific papers by Steinfartz et al, written around the times of the original collections, I think (expect to pay for translation) and Marc S.'s one classic magazine article.
By the way, my thinking is never mind a book... what about care sheets from experienced breeders?
