Hi I'm wandering which is a good species of terrestrial newt one that's kind of active i have been looking into the T.shanjing because I like te way they look any suggestions. And I live in New Jersey anyone know any newt breeders.
Most fully terrestrial species are inactive, particularly if you are accustomed to reptiles as pets. I found T. shanjing to be rather boring because they aren't very interactive and stay hidden all the time. But it's a matter of preference, many people adore them.
Ok then i dont like no active newts i have 3 firebellies and their very active and good eaters... do you know if the T.verrucosus are active because the seem to be more aquatic. And how do i know when someone replies to a post is there a messaged sent because I have been checking my home page and it doesnt show replies unless i click on it.. And thank you for the reply 8)
