One of my C.e.'s is on the land wuite a bit. Ive only had her for a day or two though, how ong will she be on the land before I know to mmove her to a terrestrial set up? I am not asking how long she will be on the land. I just want to make sure she has the proper enclosure. And she is an adult.

Maybe not an adult. In some cases they remain terrestrial until breeding season.. But that is rare. It maybe young and still have that terrestrial urge. Sometimes it takes a year for one to become aquatic. A semi terrestrial setup is the best setup probably.

The problem though is most likely that she is going under stress with her new exhibit. It will take a while before she returns to the water. You can encourage her to go into the water by misting the exhibit you keep her in.

Mine went into a terrestrial phase when i got them too. It´s matter of patience...if the water quality is ok, and they are healthy they´ll go back to the water.
Looks like the normal thing for cynops to do...when put in a new tank they react like that.
