Question: Temperature Control for a tiger salamander

What temperature Range is good for a Tiger Salamander? I am trying to keep it at 65 degrees F by putting ice on when I see the temp climb above 68, and take it off when the temp is below 63.

Put the tank in the coldest area of the house. The temperature being at 68 is less stressful than a constantly fluctuating temperature.
