Super nice macro! Too bad it's too late for the calender competition, it would make a great finalist in my opinion.

Mine never sit still long enough. They chase the camera, hoping it will provide worms.

That is an incredible shot, Juraj. I hope to see more photos.

A very nice picture of a really nice animal!
Are juveniles more inquisitive than adults?

what have you been feeding him/her? i have a juvenile too and it's not eating? and what is your setup/environment? thanx

wax worms, chopped earth worms, small crickets. Setup consists of plastic container, moss and pieces of bark.

mine has been ignoring everything...i fear she's not going to make it.....how long did it take for your juve to eat?

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
