Has anyone any experience with this species in the 20s C (late 70s and early 80s F)? I`m interested in acquiring some captive bred specimens but my apartment here in Texas can hit 80 F in the middle of summer. Thank you!

John,

My first batch of Tg's in the early 90's was kep in my appt with no AC. The temp was routinely close to 80 all summer. They tended to spend a lof of time on land but returned to water when the temp lowered. They seemed to suffer no ills and one of them is still with me today. The other three have since moved on ( I didn't know about lids back then).
