Tank?

Okay, here's what I've got so far:
Fake plants....
Flat slate.....
Sand..or big rocks?
Hidey holes made for fish...like logs and stuff?
And my tank is only 10 maybe 15 gallons?
Is this ok for just one Axie?
What else do I need?

Is brine shrimp good for juveniles and adult?
(don't worry I don't own one yet)

A filter would be good , you'll want to keep the water clean.
A 10 gallon tank is kind of small but would work for one adult axie.
Brine shrimp are to small to make a worthy meal for juvie / adult axies.

Hi Ampthefrogguy,

Earthworms and pellets would be a more appropriate staple food for adult axies. Bloodworms and blackworms are also fine although in terms of 'quantity', they are more suitable as nutritious (regular) treats.

I know their freshwater.
So no salt? Whatsoever?

Hi Ampthefrogguy,

I think you are referring to water hardness. Axies do better in moderately hard water. They can get transient anaemia and some skin/gill trauma with very soft water. Unless you are using distilled or RO water, it is unlikely your water supply (tap) is soft. If you want to play safe, you can bring a small sample of your water to the aquarium shop to test for you. With very soft water, you can increase the hardness by addition of some freshwater aquarium salts, shell grit in a stocking etc.
