Tank water went cloudy overnight

any ideas how this coudld have happened
im thinking about just doing a 50% water change but i just did that a week ago so i dont know if it will be safe
 
Mine is still cycling and STILL gets cloudy. Guess you have finished cycling etc ?
 
bacteria blooms can cause cloudyness and often happen during cycles or when youve added alot more animals/ fed heavily. it'll go away soon enough

i did think i cycled the tank but i guess means i havnt
 
when i introduced my second axie the water went very cloudy for about 2 days then went back to clear overnight.
 
hey. sorry i iddnt want to start a new thread. but my tank after months and months of crystal clear water has turned cloudy, i havant changed anything eg animals/feeding/too much water change but it seems to have 'uncycled' is there a way to make it recycle? or will that just happen naturally over time?
 
have you cleaned the filter recently or cleaned anything in the tank?. whats the ammonia and nitrate and nitrite readings?. just because its gone cloudy it doesnt always mean its 'uncycled'.
