I am looking into maybe adding one more tank however I have very limited room ... So I was wondering how many gallons would be reasonable for just one FBN.

This link should help you: How Many Fire Bellied Newts Can I Fit in a Tank?

It all depends how much floor space you have, but they recommend 5 gallons plus another 2-3 gallons per newt, and they reckon a 10 gallon is plenty of room for 2. So a minimum would probably be about 7 gallons or so.
Hope this helps! I usually only do axolotls but I was curious :)

The minimum recommended volume is 10 gallons even for one newt. 4 can be fit comfortably in that volume, but you still need for just the one because it´s a matter of stability and tamponing power. In smaller volumes it´s difficult to maintain adequate conditions without significant effort.

Just as a precautionary comment, if you are going to acquire an H.orientalis, make sure it´s CB or consider other species otherwise.

well my 10 gallon has to be taken down for now but its nice to know for future reference :)

I actually want C. Cyanurus :)

Ah, excellent choice.
