Question: Tank size for juveniles ???

I just got 3 two inch juvies and I placed them in a 55 gallon tank filled to the top . Question is if it's too much for two inchers , there are many hides and plants and alot of space but I see them swimming to the top kind of slowly on bursts of speed , is it too much?? They've been in there for 6 hours so far and seem to be doing fine , even ate bloodworms and filled up

In the wild, they're in a much bigger enclosure. As long as they're finding food, they should be fine.
