Tank setup okay?

Hi! I'm new to actually posting on caudata instead of just lurking for information XD Anyways i'm getting my first axolotl in a couple of days. He/she is only a juvenile so I will be housing the axie in a smaller tank until they can live on the sand.

Below is the tank they are going to be growing into. Does it look okay so far? I would love some suggestions, thanks!

It looks good to me! and also you can put juvies on sand.

Yes! How big are your juvies? Of a certain size they can go on sand

S(he) is going to be about 2-3 inches!

I currently have a small 5 gallon set up until s(he) reaches 5 in? I'm not sure which the best size is to introduce them.

I also reorganized it a little and added a bigger hide. Should I add more?
