I have one Axolotl currently living in a 31 x 81 cm tank.
I plan on up-grading to a larger tank and here are the plans.

Hello, I may be wrong but do you not have a hiding place? A picture would be much easier!

Im sure uve seen a plastic over hang in the pet shop

Yes... it seems from what I've learned on here that most of the hides are smaller and provide more security. Also I believe that Multiple hides might be preferable. :happy:
