Tank Cleaning

Hey guys! Long time no post. I've got a question for y'all. My tank's glass has gotten a little gunky lately. Water is crystal clear and the parameters are pitch perfect and it certainly doesn't bother the lotls but it is quite unsightly to me! Could I wipe it off with a paper towel or something or will wiping the glass kill off too many good bacteria?

Giving it a wipe should be fine. There are plenty of good bacteria in your filter, substrate, on plants and ornaments.
Get yourself a magnetic algae cleaner too - axies like to chase it while you clean the glass!

That's good to know! And I can just imagine how the lotls would react to the magnetic algae cleaner. Haha I'll probably have to get me one now!
