T.marm ?

I rehomed this guy earlier in the year. He was about 2.5" and was supposed to be a T.marmoratus. He hasn't grown very much since I have had him and is now approx 3.5", he is kept in a tub with compost, leaves, a log , a water dish and a mesh lid for ventilation. I established a colany of wood lice in there before he went in, I add baby roaches, meal worms and small dendro worms regularly to the tub as well as maggots which produce big flies. I just went to check on him as I do every week and noticed that he is actually a he and has a small crest developing. I thought that T.marmoratus needed to be bigger than that to be sexually mature. Is this individual possibly a T.pygmaeus ?

The second pic is of my T.marmoratus which I had off Julia (Bellabaloo) as eggs, they are in a similar set up as the first guy , they just get additional fruitflies and a colony of white worrm in the tub, they are approx 2".

I actually have just received six 1" T.pygmaeus but the pics didnt come out very well as my camera work is shocking lol

I think that´s definitely a T.marmoratus. The coloration is highly variable in both species but that pattern should make it marmoratus, plus the head is nicely rounded. When it goes on a breeding cycle and the crest develops fully you should be able to know for sure.
