In the past month my dobros have been suffering small changes in their coloration. The two males are showing where their future dots will be and one is already developing his first tiny crest
Also their flanks have become brighter, that´s why at first i thought the female was just changing slightly in colouration as the males...But recently i´ve noticed while the males have a brighter line between the belly and the flanks, she has white patches, and also has a white patch on the throat and the cloaca. It´s definitely not the same as the males, which i assume are just developing their normal subadult coloration. She has had those patches for about 20 days, but the first time they appeared i didn´t think anything could be wrong for what i said previously. Also they practically disappeared until a couple days ago when they were noticiable again. I´m posting a pic of how the male´s flanks look for comparison, and a pic of the white patches from 20 days ago.
I fear they could be sores, but ever since they first appeared she has eaten great as always and acts normal.
They seem to vary in intensity (brightness) from time to time...and they only appear where you see them in the pic, not in the back, head, etc)
Any advice :S?
PS: First pic is one male, second picture the female and the other male in the background(brighter line also noticiable)
