cheers ruben and kamil do they have any spots on there throats also im told there heads are rounder cheers justin

Hi Justin,

yes - their throats are spotted.
I can't say it clearly if the head is rounder or not. But the tail of the cyreni larvae is clearly longer than the one of alpestris (in relation to the rest of the body).

Many populations have spotted throats as apuanus, mainly the females. Regarding the rounder head, this characteristic is specially obvious in the western group of M. a. cyreni. ( different in morphology and genetic level than those of the east distribution range )
