Swollen eye

I ve got an C.orientalis at home for 3 years and I found that his left eye is swollen and turned white, as the same time he cant even close his eye. Could anybody pls tell me how to treat him? thank you in advance!

I will attempt an answer, though I have no experience with this problem. Given that it's swollen, I suspect it must be infected. If you search this forum, you'll find several discussions about cloudy eyes in newts, but they are not usually swollen. You could try Neosporin (minus painkiller), but I don't know what else to suggest, other than a vet.
