Hello everybody, I am a new axolotl owner, I got my male axolotl a few days ago and I am having concerns over his cloaca, which seem very swollen to me. When he first arrived I guess he was in shock from the journey in the car, cause he had "diarrhea" and I thought that maybe the swelling might have been caused by that. He seems to be fine though, his gills are backwards, he has an appetite and he can walk normally. The breeder told me that he is probably just sexually maturing since he is 9 months old. I'm still worried though, so if anyone is willing to advise me I'd be glad!
