Swaped Tanks

So After 3 years of having multiple generations of platies and guppies in a 55gal tank everything but one Neon Tetra and a female guppy died. I treated the tank, did water changes, added a few cheap fish, With in a week everything but my two orignals had died. Again I changed water, treated gave some time and got a cheap fish, and again they all died but the Neon and the Guppy. By now I am tired and aggravated. I left it completely alone for a month, Neon and Guppy were happily living the grand life in the huge tank all alone. Sine they were doing good and my water quality tested fine I bought 3 mollies. They were on sale. . Week and a half later No more mollies.
Threw my hands up and called mom. (30 somthing years old and still calling mom Shakes my head)
So I went and got her shypen hose and scooped out my two troopers (neon and guppy) and started draining the *&^%*(&^$%#$%^&* thing. Neon and Guppy got to stay in a nice little place called the motel igloo over night.
Mean while Tater and Stitch were watching and wondering. I moved them into a 20gal tall with some of their tank water and areator. they had a wonderful veiw of motel Igloo. LOL
Anyways, After draining, scrubbing, hot water sterilizing, Soaking all things from the large tank, I moved Tater and Stitck and all of their sand and plants and everything to the 55gal. The Neon and Guppy went to the old 20gal Long. They all seem Happy. I cant wait to get more pictures tonight with my camera.
in one of the pics Tater looks like he is sayin "Its SO big"
And in another it looks like he is thinking "BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!" lol

Did you cycle the new tank before putting the axolotls in? Or are you intending on keeping the axies in while you cycle it?

i cycled it before. It was very cloudy in the pics because I had arranged some plants and stirred up the sand. I have much better pics now.
