i'm about to get some t. helveticus and vulgaris and i was wondering what food would be best for them. would earth worms be okay?

hi will
earthworms bloodworms live or frozen live daphinia.

thank you anthony, will they only accept live foods or will chopped earthworms be ok?

Will, are they adults or morphs? This makes a big difference in what foods they are likely to accept.

chopped is great for smaller newts

i think i've got a very small adult, 2" roughly, but how do you tell the difference?

well i've found a single adult male triturus vulgaris. i've had him for just under a week now and he will not eat a thing. he is wild caught so maybe he is still settling down. but what can i do to help him eat?

bloodworms (frozen also), daphnia, buffaloworms sometimes and a lot more that will fit in their mouth
