Hi  Looking for someone with a broad knowledge of aquarium plants (or just more knowledge than me - which isn't difficult!)
I remember seeing a very beautiful tank set-up on this site (looked for half an hour and couldn't find it again... *sigh*) which featured plants sitting on the surface of the water with long roots reaching down into the tank. Thought it looked amazing! I guess they were some sort of lilly pad?
I just wondered if there are any readily available plants where I live (uk) that I could get for my tank which do this. At the moment I just have elodea, some floating freely at the surface, and some anchored at the bottom. Mine isn't a huge tank by any means, but I'd love to know if there are any plants which produce a forrest of roots for my Axie to explore![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Thanks for any suggestions guys!
