Suggestions for my tank please?

Does anyone know if any caudats or anurans could live in a tank roughly 12x6x4 as an adult?
I can do aquatic or terrestrial, Heated or unheated filtered etc. etc.
I'm really interested in phibs lately and would love to finally get one

Well firstly, do you want to get a salamander/ newt, or a frog? These require 2 completely different set-up requirements.

If you do decide to get a salamander or newt, you will then need to figure out what species. You need to know this information before hand because that will determine what type of set-up you need to accommodate for. You pick the species first then decide tank set-up.

To start you off however, you should have a minimum of a 10 gallon tank. This is my personal preference for hold one animal, depending on the species. Any Salamander or newt you get will not need a heater.
