Question: Substrate Grain size

Could someone please let me know if 1mm-2mm grain size is ok,
I ordered some sand for my new axolotl that I have on order, and the company sent me the wrong sand and I didn't notice until I was doing a water change today, my tank is almost finished cycling and I would hate to have to start all over again, I have been waiting for so long to get my lil guy.
The sand that I ordered was sized 0.25mm-0.75mm. That just seems to be a big difference.

That's a very fine sand, but if it behaves OK in the tank (not getting into the filter), then it should be just fine (no pun intended)
