This is what my son's maculatum are set up in...
I was considering moving them into a 3-4" layer of moss covered by leaf-litter and no actual hides.Just the moss and leaves to burrow in. My reasoning is visibility of feeding and a better estimate of body mass in general. Would they be as happy, or would quality of life suffer? I like the set-up, but I would like to better monitor food prey consumption.
A view of the larger male...
I appreciate any and all feedback...Believe me, I want to provide the best life possible for my collection in general.
