Hi everyone. About 3 or 4 months ago my firebellies had their second batch of eggs. The little ones should be coming out of the water any day now! But they're not what I'm concerned about.
About a year and a half ago I found a few baby newts in my tank but only 1 survived to this day. He's been out of the water for just over a year and seems to be doing quite well. He goes in the water every so often but spends most time on land and lately has been climbling the glass. My concern is that he's really small. He's only about an inch and a half long including his tail. I hand feed all of my newts and he only eats one frozen bloodworm every night. He'll go on eating one a day for weeks at a time and then he won't eat anything for a few days. Is this normal for a newt of his age?
