Somehow I think this is the right forum to show her off in
This is Stumpy, my legless leucistic axolotol. I believe she's a female ... I think that she was born with no legs, and though I didn't notice it until after I bought her, it doesn't seem to hinder her in the least -- she manuevers her way around just as well, if not better, than her four-legged companion. I wonder if perhaps the legs of an axolotl are really hinderances to them... I do, however, appreciate the irony of owning one of the few vertebrates in the world that can regenerate its limbs, and mine happens to be legless

Come to think of it, are mutations such as this common in axolotls? I believe that her male companion is growing a foot out of his foot... Perhaps I was sold a defective pair? (That's OK, I love them anyway)
