Dear herpers,
a stud book for the gender Taricha was just started in the German herp society (group Urodela), where many of the European salamander enthusiats are member. Aim of the stud book is to coordinate the keepers of this in Europe rarely kept animals (not T.granulosa, T.torosa torosa & sierrae and T.rivularis) to breed them and distribute them to people interested.
Today I want to ask people to support these group. Especially there seems only one small group of T.torosa torosa.
Who keeps this animals and would like to exchange animals into that pool.
As it is tricky to distinguish this animals, animals from pet trade are not optimal. Place of origin would be perfect.
