I was unsure of where to ask this, but here goes.

Which newt or salamander has the strongest bite?

Well, Andrias, almost certainly xD Amphiuma might be in a similar league.
Bare in mind that this is basically because of their bigger size...caudates don´t have powerful jaws, they don´t masticate and they don´t usually require much of a grip on their prey so it´s not about bite strength but rather about gulping the prey quickly into the mouth sack. Most species have very weak bites compared to other tetrapods even if they have a somewhat decent size.

Haha I feel dumb not just assuming a giant salamander would be top tier. xD

Amphiuma does look like it would have something to prove though (I sure as heck wouldn't let it nibble on me). O:

Have you ever been bitten by a mudpuppy? I would like to end up getting one down the line and wanted to know if I should be leery of hand feeding. :p

I was once bitten by a Pacific giant and it felt like a trout's mouth. Didn't hurt much.
