Really random, weird question, but how much stress can a salamander tolerate without it becoming a serious health concern? I'm asking this mainly because the other people in my home don't seem to understand that pushing objects out of their way and against the tank, shining lights into the tank, and blaring music by the tank are not good for my salamander >.> I'm working vigorously to omit these problems as of Monday, and really, in the almost a month I've had her none of this has happened often. She eats and acts as she should.
I'm just super paranoid, as I'm inexperienced and she's young and her habitat is still changing as I learn more and work to make her tank a more suitable living environment for her. Like, I'm super paranoid. About pretty much everything with her. I'm trying to loosen up, but I just need some reassurance XD
Sorry for my newb-ishness guys! Bear with me, I'll get there.
Also, she's an Ambystoma Gracile. Between 1-3 years old and not even nearly full-grown. She's a good weight and about as active as you'd expect for the species. As I said, her activity is normal. She doesn't tend to burrow, but prefers to sink a little into the dirt for coverage under one of her multiple hidey-hole rocks and shelters.
Thank-you!!
