Ok, so, for anyone that remembers the process of me cycling my tank....the day of reckoning is now upon me - picking up my first axie on Monday....very excited, but a bit scared too!
The tank is completely cycled and ready for him, I have axie food, water test kits and lots of dechlorinated water at standby. I also have some stress coat stuff that removes chlorine from water and it is herein that my question lies - I have just been leaving water to stand for 48 hours to dechlorinate it, however, thought, in case of emergency, would be good to have some dechlorinator stuff on standby. Now, I know how much of it to add per litre, but, for example, do I just fill a bottle with water from the tap, add the dechlorinator and then, hey presto, it's immediately dechlorinated. Or do you have to leave it to stand for 10,20,30 minutes?
Any info would be gratefully received!
Thanks
