Spotted Salamanders breeding, CT

Spotted Salamanders seen in one breeding pond in CT (Feb 10), 2 days after blizzard - spring has begun to move in. I've also seen Red Winged Blackbirds in n. NJ, and heard a song sparrow singing, Nassau Co, LI.
