My eggs have they're own little tank right now and this morning I noticed that there are little white specks swimming around and on the glass. They're also on the very outer layer of the jelly on the eggs.
They don't look like worms, and my eggs are doing fine, I just don't know what it is or if it's going to be harmful. In the picture they're all the little white sand-looking spots.

Not sure what they are but occasionally I've noticed them moving around on the glass. I suspect they have become stuck on the eggs rather then actually feeding on the eggs. Whatever they are you will have trouble eliminating them without damaging the eggs. I would move the eggs into clean dechlorinated water. Eggs are surprisingly tough so you should be fine.

I only noticed them after moving them to a clean (half tank water/half new water) tank. The are only on the very outside of the jelly right now, and my eggs are developing nicely so far it seems. I can see little axolotl shapes already! I'm going to keep an eye on them and when they hatch I'll put them in clean water right away and try to separate them from the buggy things.

Well the eggs I kept hatched and I moved them out of the egg tank as they hatched, then into another clean tub. They're all doing great and I don't see any more of the weird bugs. The babies are eating up the bbs like crazy though!
