Spermatophores AGAIN!

My girl laid eggs on Jan 1 and the eggs i kept are hatched now. But i just looked 15 minutes ago and i saw spermatophores everywhere in my tank, i sucked them out with a tube because i don't want my female to lay eggs again because of the stress (for her AND for me

) and stuff. Am i too late removing the spermatophores or do i have a change that she didn't pick it up?

There's always a chance she didn't pick one up, but the best form of axolotl birth control is separation.

thanks for your reply. I know, but they are so happy together.. once i had put a glass plate between them and they started to run and swim into the plate like if they wanted to get together
