Question: Spanish rIbbed newt gravid?

So my Ribbed newts are about 10-12 months old. I bought them together it is a male and a female. Thew grew since I had them but the past couple days them female is now much much bigger than the male. I have over fed them before. They got bloat, I helped them and learned my lesson. But this time it looks slightly different. And the male is fine. I have been feeding them normal for months now and that is fine. The female does not appear to be uncomfortable as she did when she had bloat.
Also. They are constantly in Amplexus. So I’m guessing now they are old enough to become gravid?
