SOS Sick axolotl

I have been pretending my axolotl has been fine although he has been looking a bit sickly. I understand that what I was doing wasn't a good approach to the issue but he has a fungal infection and is underweight. I have been giving him salt baths but have no idea how to get him eating. he looks a bit better than when the fungus infection was still on him but I really need a way to get him eating again SOS I am very worried about him and regret thinking he'd get better with time what can I do to increase the speed of his recovery and make sure he recovers in he first place so how can I get him to eat? how can i increase the speed of his healing? how can i make sure the fungus doesn't return? PS: I have been giving him 2 10-15min salt water baths a day and each time he is in the soak (cold water) I completely clean his quarantine bin.

salt baths do more harm than good for axolotls, particularly fungus. Tea baths and/or Indian almond leaves are the way to go. I'd tub him in fresh cool water, add some IALs. What are you trying to feed? I've heard you can soak earthworms in some garlic to entice appetite. I would first try leaving some nightcrawlers or maybe even blackworms in his tub over night or all day only remove them when they die.

WILL DO ive been trying to feed him shrimp and bloodworms also yeah ive been giving teabaths the moment i understood that salt could be harmful! thx ill try cause he hasnt eaten for a week and a half now so i am quite worried
